Geriatrics Fellowship Program Application Requirements

How to Apply

Applying for academic year 2024-25:

  • UC San Diego participates in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) application program — learn more about the application process and apply through ERAS.
  • Our program participates in the National Resident Match Program (NRMP)Interviews will be held in September and October, with selections completed by the Match deadlines, with the national Match taking place November 29, 2023.
  • All interviews this year will be held virtually.

Requirements

Your application to the Division of Geriatrics Fellowship Program must include the following:

  • CV
  • Personal Statement
  • Program Director's Letter and two letters of recommendation
  • Dean's Letter
  • Medical School Transcripts
  • USMLE Transcripts and ECFMG Status Report (Foreign Medical Graduates)
  • Valid California Medical License (to be obtained within the first 3 months of fellowship following new CA procedures)

We currently do not accept applicants with H-1B visas.
