    Mai-Anh Dam, MD

    Mai-Anh Dam, MD is a Southern California native who completed her medical school training at Ross University School of Medicine followed by her Family Medicine Residency as a Chief Resident at University of Texas, Houston. A UCLA graduate, she is excited to be back in California pursuing her passion in geriatric medicine. Her interest in the field started while growing up in the same house as her grandparents and intensified throughout her residency. She looks forward to expanding her experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, transitioning patient care from the hospital back into the community, with a focus on healthy aging and culturally appropriate geriatric care. She hopes to continue her involvement in teaching fellow residents and students in the academic setting. In her spare time, Mai-Anh enjoys cooking and baking with her husband, trying out new restaurants, and traveling.  

  • Belicia Ding, MD

    Belicia Ding, MD

    Belicia Ding, MD completed her internal medicine training in the Primary Care and Social Medicine track at Montefiore Einstein in New York City. Before moving to the Big Apple, Belicia was at Houston, Texas, where she completed her medical training at Baylor College of Medicine and her bachelor's degree in psychology at Rice University. She is excited to finally return to California, where she grew up, and be a part of UC San Diego! Her interests in geriatrics are in outpatient care and home visiting programs, and she is especially passionate about caring for the underserved. In her free time, Belicia enjoys traveling, drawing and painting, and trying out the hottest food spots in town! 

  • Karun Singla, MD

    Karun Singla, MD

    Karun Singla, MD started his journey in Chicago, IL, where he was born and raised. After completing his undergrad at Loyola University, he attended medical school at AUC in Sint Maarten as well as Detroit, MI. After further clinical and research experience in Atlanta, GA and Staten Island, NY, he pursued his Family Medicine residency at UNC Health Southeastern in North Carolina. He was very excited for his next move to San Diego to train at UCSD! 
    During his residency training, Dr. Singla gradually realized his passion for Geriatrics. Not only has he always been close to his parents, but this was a field where he could effect significant change. At this time he is interested in hospital Geriatric medicine as well as nursing home care. 
    Dr. Singla loves to recharge through outdoor activities with friends and family, especially nature walks, trails, and hiking just to name a few. He also enjoys trying new things and is currently having fun with cooking and martial arts!
